This morning is a sad day for me i woke up to see my best breeding female that was due to give birth in the next few days had died. She was 55cm in across her disc it appears that the male ray was chasing her and chewing on her disc and tail. Funny thing is ive got 2 other females in with
him that are much smaller than her but he just decided to bully her. May be he sensed that she was due to give birth and went for it abit to early?

Most ray males, when they see there is a pregnant female around them, they start chasing them, they get like "excited".

No i was to pissed off but she was damn heavy i would guess around 6kg
i was even thinking of cutting her open to get the babies out but decided
against it because i had to go to work.
