How many times did she give birth already?
Some say one needs to give a female some resting period after 2-3 times to recover.
I know from my Motoro's that the male is very aggresive towards the birth and just after - I believe these are the hormons associated with the birth that's start flowing and make him crazy.

She has had for litters prior i always give the females a rest for a few months after each litter she was a good breeder her first batch had 3
second 3 third was 10 and last was 7 pups all healthy.
