dude that sucks to hear, when I lost my Oscar, which I called "O", I was so distraught. He was my favorite and a monster as well. I've thought about getting another one, but I don't know...
 
I know how you feel. I just 2 days ago lost my jag hybrid. He was 14 inches and the first really big monster fish I had ever had. He's buried out in my yard. I had had him for a year and really cared a lot for him. I'm very sorry about your oscar, it hurts when they die for no apparent reason.
 
Only another fishkeeper understands how attached we get to our fish. To us, they have personalities and attitudes sometimes, that make each one individual and special to us.
 
Yeah, when I told one person they were like 'ok so what's the big deal..' But when I told my brother who also keeps fish he understood, like you guys do. Appreciate the kind words guys.
