Battery operated air pump is a must have. A day without power is nothing unless you have some ultra sensetive fish. I would do everything you can before you start thinking of someone replacing them.

People do not bode well to demands...You make it sound like his landlord is to be now hated over a mistake...Trust me..No matter how rich you get in life, you will be late on a payment, and lets just hope they are more fair to you, then you would be to them
