LOTS OF UPDATES COOL HYBRIDS AND WHAT NOT PIC HEAVY

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My biggest problem has been trying to maintain these batches alone. Some of our pairs breed as often as every 5 weeks. For example
some of clients will want these as a larger size. Flowers we sell at 4'' by the time were ready to sell 4'' babies weve had close to 4-5 batches
born by the time. At any time we have multiple species of different sizes available. Rarely ever will we not have at least one batch.

They look nice, what's your goal look in the end for these guys? I'm pretty new to the whole breeding thing, and just started a project myself. I haven't totally settled on the map I have laid out so far. I do like your texas parrot.

Ultimately our goal is to make what we like to call our mini flowerhorns.
A nice looking flowerhorn with minimum barred sides. That ultimately
will top off around the size of a male convict. We want our flowers
to stay no bigger then 5 inches total length. Weve gotten the size
to where we need but we still end up with a lot of the con traits.
And as you can see the KOK is very minimal. but through enough
generations we will eventually get there. Weve total grown over 11
batches of babies to date. And we are trying any edge we can do.
We look at this from a hobby point of view as also a financial point
of view. I feel very confident we will get to this point.
