Two things:For the most part, I played basketball and fished for fun when I was young. I WASTED some of my time playing video games. For a bit of my life... Then realized it was rediculous. Does it take a video game for someone to get out??? Maybe for some... But that is definitely not me... Lol. Had way more fun going out and meeting new people/partying... Etc.Actually living life... I am an American born and raised. I as well as a LOT of Americans aren't lazy and fat. Most of the people I know hit the gym religiously... Don't pigeon hole us. I guess if your that type of person it could help... But not much... I have a friend that lives video games. He's wasting his life in my opinion. No girlfriend, kids, and not much friends... But he works hard in his own maintenance buisness. Even he realizes Pokemon go is rediculous... Bring a woman over and show her your arowana tank in your room or you Pokemon go account... Lol...
1. I'm a red-blooded American same as you lol, I hunt, fish like its my job, and work out pretty consistently (used to be into the whole body building scene).
2. There is NO denying that America as a whole is obese, and badly at that, so if it takes a video game to lower that number even by a fraction so be it. Something is better than nothing.
Side Note: I've talked to model-quality women at the park playing this game, granted I was in my Army uniform at the time haha. I've also been told "fish keeping is weird and boring" by more than a few pretty ladies lol.
Your view and mine are completely subjective to how people "waste" their lives. I think parties are a waste of time, rather be guillied up and calling in a turkey, and other people find sitting in the woods waiting for an animal to maybe walk by is a waste as well haha.
