You know trail and error would work best if you really wanted tankmates. My BB hated many fish , then i found them one by one. I really didnt even choose my stock , the eel and bb grouper chose them .

i envy you guys that have multiple aggresive fish together but just having him in there does make it easy to take care of

you don't have to dive with them
swear to god you could fit you head in his mouth, and ours isn't don't growing either

very cool. Though if you do add tankmates another grouper would only end up bad! groupers kill other groupers in captivity. They just dont like competition. Ive tried it and it doesnt seem to work that often.

Awesome grouper, it may be tough to find a tank mate depending on his aggressiveness in my experience groupers are like triggers their personality differs depending on the individual fish.
