So I was wondering if love is real. Like, is it something that doesn't change, ever no matter what? Do you fall in love a couple of times in your life and it changes as you change? Is it a rare thing that only a few people find? Can you grow to love someone? I don't know...

I mean, seriously, I don't know anymore. Is it a cosmic thing that is bigger than us or is it nothing else than finding someone of the opposite sex (or same sex) that we negotiate with? Someone that we say we can live with.

I've often wondered about this when I hear of people forced into arranged marriages.

Too many variables. :) If you don't know if you are in love, you aren't.. You are either complacent or something else is going on. Will love last? Sometimes.. Can you fall in love or grow to love? Possibly.. again sometimes.

I've been married 11 years and I can tell you all that really matters is being compatible on a daily level with someone. Be able to talk, be reasonable, and able to find things to do together. Physical attraction and affection are a huge plus.

the only thing in the world i can say i truly love is Emma, i'm getting married in April and i do love him but its a different love and its mixed with loads of other stuff like commitment and stability

Pretty deep question for a fishkeeping site. Kinda like registering with The View's website to ask about spawning rare fish species utilizing parthenogenetic techniques.

In my life there is no love or true love there is I like you,I hate you ,your nice, you listen to country this relationship is over ,so I'm saying no love

Fishy, You're like 12 so your advice doesn't exactly count...yet. Not trollin, not being all "witchy" about it, just saying. You're most likely too young to know. To be honest, I'm most likely too young to know and I'm 23...

I believe love happens over time, its a creeping thing that you're really unaware of until its there. You can learn to love. That's how friends turn into lovers and lovers into mates. I believe love is a thing we learn as we grow and when we come of age, we find it. I can also say that while I don't always like Mike and I don't always like what he does or says, I do always love him. In those cases, I choose to love him even though I'm mad at him. I choose to storm off and come back and accept his apology and hug or offer my own apology and hug cuz we don't want to be mad at each other. That's love.
