Unique but overwhelming to much of everything going on lol maybe it's just me has nothing to do with filtration but that's to many different types of fish to accommodate

Your tank is wonderful and the water looks fantastic, optically speaking. However, your salinity is too low for many of your brackish water fish, in fact some of the fish you have will require close to full strength sea water when adults.

As others have pointed out, you have some fish that don't tolerate salt very well or hardness, severum, blood parrot - and the Africans though appreciative of the low salinity and hardness in some sense, are crowded.

In short, I think you may be over stocked and improperly stocked.

You have a fantastic tank with a fantastic water maintenance routine, why not cut down the numbers of fish, and only keep those who thrive in a brackish environment, with an thought towards the fact that you may need to go to full strength sea water?

I still want to get other brackish fish like green cromide and African tiger scats that everyone has said that they are impossible to get.and if I do get them I will get a new home for the other fish that are not brackish fish. But now as you all can see my fish are doing excellent and thriving if they were not I would be more inclined to relocate them as needed.as for the salt you can see that I have regular mono that are kept in full salt water and if you look at the colors on my silver scats and mono Sabe you would see they all are in good shape and full color not stressed at all.And I do no that African tiger scats can live in total fresh water, but all the larger ones i have seen were faded out and not that vibrant. So I think they would do better in brackish water.

also the fish that your looking at are at least six inches long my monos are the biggest I have seen in semi brackish water ever. they were always in full salt water when ever i seen anything close to the size of mine. Can it be possible that my fish have adapted to the environment in which they were raised.most were the size of a quarter and half dollar when I got them.
