  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
None yet so far. These plants were actually moved from my 29 planted to this tank and have absolutely excelled in this tank so much that I'm planning in moving more over tonight the sand in the tank is flourish black sand. What size is your tank?

Awesome looking tank! What size is tank is this then if they came from a 29 gallon? I just bought some water sprite and so far so good. Not doing too much yet, but one new good piece of growth just in the last week or two while it is buried in gravel. As far as sand, I have been trying to figure out this "pool filter" sand. Is it the same as "play sand". A friend of mine just went and got a bunch of "Play Sand" for his 240 gallon. Looks awesome. Guessing it will be fine for the fish. Is there really a difference in "pool" verses "play". Is it actually called "pool filter sand"? Would like some sand and don't really wanna spend $20 on just 25 pounds of black sand. The play and or pool filter sand is more of a natural look I want anyway. Thoughts?

The tank is only 10g, it's actually a present I bought for my gf but have taken it over lol from what I know about sand, pfs is better than play sand due to play sand being finer and therefore easier to get caught up in filters. I would go with pfs and not play sand.
