The power head skimming the surface should do that (I hope!). And I'm hoping it doesn't get to freezing point (at least in the tank!) Because whatever that tank is on, that's my room temperature!!!

Gosh goldfish are tough buggers. How people manage to kill them is beyond me (don't misunderstand, I know EXACTLY how people manage.) but I've had mine in 30°c+ water (not by design, just summer room temperature) and now their in the opposite extreme... DAYUM!!!
Yes, goldfish are tough fish. So are koi. They just don't belong in bowls.
