Low tech Ram tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i would love to have some rotala indica but dont they need a good amount of light?
Thanks for the advise about the bulb i wasnt sure if i should cut it or not
Going out today to look for some more plants to put in there. Its been 4 weeks since i set this up and still none of my 8 blue rams paired up i think i have all boys :(

Nice looking tank. I really like the root ball on the left and the floating one on the right. I think with a couple more tall pieces in the middle it'll add some more depth and look great

Thanks ray just doing more research on which plant to add that will go well with my low light plants. Any suggestion on other type of low light plants would be very helpful thanks.

Nope, rotala indica will do fine in low light. In fact almost any plant can grow in low light. They just grow slower.

PS: When you cut those tiger lotus plants. Make sure to cut the stems that connect to the bulb do not cut any roots.

i dig it i dig it. rummy nose are some of my favorite tetras
