I bought fluorite from drs foster and smith, and they're pretty good with the shipping. I bought two 15lb bags, and the shipping was a mere 10(ish) dollars. They actually said I could purchase 25 more dollars worth of supplies before the shipping increased. I think the 2 bags of (black) fluorite came out to be 35 dollars. 45 with shipping. Good deal, I think. My LFS was selling 1 bag of red fluorite for 28 dollars, or so.
Oh, and cassharper, thank you very much for the advice and the caveat. I definitely appreciate it.

ya your gonna find the mark up on alot of stuff at LFS is outrages. I want to get 4x65w CFL lights for my tank 2x6700k 2x10000k and they wanted $45 a bulb and i went online and they were about$25 a bulb. I was actually shocked you found flourite that cheap.
