Lower my PH!!

IME stability is better than keeping it in the "target" range. If for some reason you get it low and it spikes back up you're going to lose fish.

I had red shoulder sevs spawn in a 300 that is straight hard indiana tap water.
In the same tank I have stingrays and a tigrinus that are doing awesome and growing like mad (over a year now). I'll reiterate, but I really do think that stability is more important. I've never used anything to alter PH and I've only had fatalities that were caused by trauma.

:iagree: since I have the same Indiana hard as concrete water and keep CA/SA with no problems.
