Lowering PH for Aro's: Driftwood.... Anyone with experience?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Personally i use catapaca leaves who make the water acidish and who add components to the water which help skin and also are a good remedy against skin fungus for fish. We use it in the betta practices. It is said it lowers PH, but i also use RO water 25% (never, ever ever use pure RO water, since it lacks minerals and salts and such) and 75 aged tap water. Now having 200-500 gallons of aged / aired water can somewhat be a big fuss.. but it helps.
