hi there i would like to find out if i can put my spotted gars in my koi pond the pond is 200000liters and think they will look awesome in there, if i can what is the adviseble size to put them in they are all about 10cm now. please advice oddball

Actually I'm curious as to whether one could keep a longnose gar in a pool outdoors over the winter. When I was younger, (8-9?) I trapped a small longnose on a camping trip and kept it for a while, till it jumped out of a bucket overnight when I was moving the tank.

The pool isn't used much nowadays because the water heater is busted. So my dad has thrown the idea around(jokingly?) of putting some fish in there. It's an underground pool and the surfaces freezes over the winter (Montreal, Quebec). Just out of curiosity, if ever I manage to get another longnose somehow.
