mine is about 15" and loves HBH sinking cichlid pellets.

kool thanks. just yesterday i fed it a little peice of worm and he loved it!!!!

don't start it out on a diet of feeders when young because the older/larger they get the harder it is to get them off of feeders. the one i have raised since it was about 4in eats flake pellet now more than anything. the other i've got to eat night crawlers which seems to have boosted its growth rate. just my experience

Mine is 6 inches, and I can't get it to eat anything but shrimp, silversides, and bloodworms. I hope that one day he will eat a pellet.

just starve it when it gets a little bigger. with few exceptions, a healthy, hungry cat will always eat.

if he is eating bloodworm remove the feeders , the aim is to get it off live food not offer it feeders when its already eating bloodworm.

the bloodworms are for my peacock eel but the LSN is eating them instead... the feeders are for my other fish but the LSN can eat them if he wants.
