No feeders! At the very least so he doesn't end up with a broken nose from missing one and slamming the glass. I feed mine massivore pellets, market shrimp, talapia, perch and pollock. The faster you get him to eat pellets the healthier he will be.
feeders are a pain in the butt IMO, expensive (in the long run) and your fish will grow much faster on pellets.
i have all my fish on Hikari Massivore pellets, and it's a little expensive, but they love it, and they grow fast.
and you can also get it pretty reasonable on the internet. www.petsolutions.com is about the best i have found
Holy cow, thats a good deal. I've seen em for like $12 around my area... thats why I've been feeding hikari sinking cichlid pellets. Which my cats seem to like just as well.

Has anyone ever tried feeding their cats wild minows from a creek or river? Bad idea?
