Dear ALL,

Please find attached, some pics of my FH ........
I have had some doubts regarding my FH from sometime. I would like you geniuses out there to clear some of these.....
Thanx in advance to all ....... w8ng for your replies ......

1. What is the actual name of this Flowerhorn ?????
2. What is the size of this Flowerhorn ?????
3. Is this a Male or Female ??
4. What is the best food to give these Flowerhorn, for increasing Size of the FH rapidly ????? (presently fed Bloodworms & Shrimps, r they enuf, or how abt live goldfishes???)

ANY ANSWERS ARE TOTALLY WELCOME.......

looks like a zz red dragon male
feed him pellets and blood worms,market shrimp
and for the hump good water and mirror for likr 1-2 hour a day

Looks like a Thai Siam to me. Or a ZZ male if you want to keep it short

3. Is this a Male or Female ??
It is a male

4. What is the best food to give these Flowerhorn, for increasing Size of the FH rapidly ????? Feeding bloodworms and shrimp/krill all the time are bad for your fish, those should only be used as treats. Chingmix and Grand Sumo are some fh brand foods that would help with the head, I'm not a fan of them but supposedly they work. As for Goldfish/live fish, stay away from those, live fish usually carry parasites and they aren't that nutritious as pellets. HTH

You can't measure it? Its hard to guess the size of fish from photos.

Most ZZ's are fertile, so if you want to breed them, its not going to be a problem.
