whats rong with my FH ????? FROM today morning i find him with a scar on his head ......

kindly advise .....

It looks like he niked his head on an ornament. It should heel completely if you keep it in good conditions.

I must have an oddball flowerhorn then, he won't do anything to disturb the tank. He will occasionally pick up a piece of gravel and carry it around for awhile before dropping it again but he leaves the decor alone. Now the parrot I have in with him will mess with the plants and move gravel weekly.

If you breed him you must remove all fish except the female, the flowerhorns will kill anything that comes near their nesting site, as for the scar he either whacked it on something or a parrot nipped him it will heal...they do tend to destroy decor but some will tolerate it...study up on breeding and care, do not feed color enhancing foods that have chemicals and hormones those can make your fish sterile, use good foods with natural ingredients...

anyway,,,, the scar has gone.....now,,,, just with MELAFIX....
