They grow to at least twelve inches in length depending on just which type you get and the 55 will do for a very short time if the fish is properly cared for.

Lukanani is what hawians refer to peacock bass. I have two but both are very different. My lfs owner has had a couple of these for three yeArs they are from 12to15inches. They are very aggressive towards other fish. I bought two about an inch and a half seven months ago they have been nonstop growing since. One has grown alot faster then the other and is lighter when all lit up.They started out only eating feeders but quickly destroy anything put into the tank u name it I fed it to them. I've almost completely gotten them off goldfish and onto pellets, large krill, spearing, bloodworms, tubiflex worms.
