Anytime midnight! Don't forget the next shower on the morning of the first. They say no one has ever taken a digital photo of the meteors we will see! The pic is to be turned over to nasa immediately And I hope it's me! lol

I'm so pissed. I got up early, had the camera, tripod, and filters in the car. Got out in the middle of no where and couldnt see it

I set up my scope and had it tracking the moon before I went to bed. Set the alarm for when totality started. I've seen tons of eclipses so I wasn't too excited about getting out of bed, but this was one of the best I've seen! Kind of a dark copper color to the naked eye and switching between various filters was amazing! I saw details that I don't think I've seen before. The contrast between mountains and lowlands was almost 3D'ish!

Nice pics! Not quite the quality of my photos from the xj9t3x5000 (Kodak 3x optical ) But seriously nice pics man! Its cool that we live in separate hemispheres, we got both views of it.
