how big is your lungfish currently, and what kind is it?

depending on the size you can apportion the food accordingly. smaller lungfishes will need more to eat (more frequently) than larger lungfishes, relatively speaking. if the fish is under 12-14" but larger than 6", then i would feed it every other day, and do a water change weekly or bi-weekly (at least 50% tank volume).

with a larger lungfish you can feed the fish with a two-day fast in between feedings, perhaps more if it is really big. if it's smaller than 6" go ahead and feed it every day.

just mix it up a bit...feed pellets one day, maybe algae wafers another day (or mixture of both), shrimp/fish (frozen/thawed) another day.

don't mess with mealworms as they generally provide little nutritional value--

if it looks like an SAL but they know it is not, then yes, it would be aggressive because it would be one of the African species (relatively speaking, the AUL looks nothing like the other lungfishes). even SALs can vary quite a bit in demeanor from one individual to another, but if they are African it is best to keep them on their own--
