Wow thats insane.....it didnt even bother the Bichirs or gar? I thought you used to have a Bowfin too?
I do have a bowfin but still too small to be added in the tank. Doesn't bother all the fish in there.

im sorry but i wouldnt be suprised ifone of the lungfish attacked something one day and kills it. they barely like any fish let alone more lungfish.

It didn't try to injure anyone but it killed two my 13" pieball common walking catfish. That lungfish have a taste for catfish meat. Also killed a 14" tigrinus, 12" foxface catfish, 14" jurunese catfish and almost try to killed my 12" sailfin marble catfish. All this happened in one night. Might develop to being a bonecrusher someday
:nilly: Dang, that sucks, I guess I'll just stick to AUL,SAL,WAL. :)

Hope that won't happen and I'm pretty sure its not gonna happen. That's the purpose of more lungfish to prevent them from attacking. With only just the african to start with then that for sure it's gonna happen.

Learned this from west african lungfish breeder in Indonesia where he place 10 large west african lungfish for breeding and did it many times with no aggression. Only way to cut down african lungfish aggression is to place them with more lungfish. He even have some guppies in there suppose to be feeders but they wont touch them. Tried with large 8" goldfish and the lungfish would just leave it alone.

So many people keep saying that african lungfish cannot be mix with other fish it's because they only keep a single lungfish.

I'm a person that like to try many things and will keep going. Will try again but have to remove the catfish. I still need to get the african gilled lungfish. Need to learn about it as it's the only lungfish I never have a chance to experience caring.
