That's so freakin awesome! Man, I thought it was bad when my gibby has 8" long trails of poo following him around... but nooooo I had to go and be proven wrong on that!

That would probably be waaaay more interesting to watch than a pile of burning dog poo on someone's porch. Just sayin.... Someone needs to record that and post it!

I just found this thread...love it! I study fossil poo (aka coprolite). I am especially interested in those from fishes with spiral valves. Any lungfish keepers out there interested in helping me with a little experiment? I am trying to compare modern lungfish poop with fossilized specimens to see if I can possibly identify which fossilized specimens may have been produced by a lungfish. I work with kids, so I would also like to get some high quality photos of some modern poop showing how it uncoils over time so I can do a display board. I would like to do something like this image I found on the Wikimedia commons, except with actual photos. If anyone out there is interested, please send me a personal message.

I agree,this thread must live on lol!
My sharks poop may not have been as big as those lungfish torpedoes but they do look really weird.They look like drill heads or augers lol.
