HOLY MOLEY!!! Dang those lung turds are HUGE!! lol one of the pics posted had one the size of your average adult middle finger! XD this is the craziest thread ever =] man this has to be a show on Animal planet for which aquatic fishes turd is the biggest !
I had no idea that lungfish were such poop factories. I've been laughin the whole way through this thread, and I have to say, it makes me almost want to get one. Making my hubby clean them out would help me get even with him....... lol 
. I've only seen one for sale down here and it was black. Not sure what kind it is tho. Come to think of it, I never saw it's sideways mounted anus either.....
Depends on what the fish eats, my Oz lung turds are reddish, with a film of slime coating on it. Stuff like SW shell remnants showing... my 18incher did 2-3 inch poops.
This is hilarious! These turds are bigger than my dog turds! This thread came up when I was doing a search and I totally forgot what I was looking for. Fascinating. My pooh-costomus lets out some rope-like turds (2'+ ) but nothing like lungfish turds.
part of the reason i got rid of my SAL was bc of the size of poop he produce (sorry no pics to contribute)... then recently, i wanted a AUL but this thread reminds me of the only unpleasant thing about lungfish ... thanks all, I'm 650 bucks richer ..hehehe
