This is one of the few souvenirs I brought back from my Fuzhou visit back in April.
The embeded fossil fish measures 4.5 inches from the tip of the jaw to the tip of the lower tail fin.
The slate rock was fractured naturally during the fossilization process, it was NOT broken by mishandling (not by me anyway).
I bought this particular piece because it is fully intact (with nearly no missing fragments).
On the back of the slate rock, there is an embeded shell also, a bonus to the buyer.
Authentication guaranteed.
The hard wooden stand is included, along with the little metal label.
I bought the whole unit for close to the equivalent of $60 USD.
I can have the three items shipped to you for $35 (anywhere in the U.S.). Due to the fragile nature of the item, insurance will be included, along with delivery confirmation if desired.
