Just want to confirm. I know it's not the best picture but I can't think of anything else that grows like that.

Based on the look, I’d agree with lympho.
Just to throw out another option though, it could be damage/infection from fighting with another fish. Keep an eye on it to see if it gets better or worse.

Again pic doesn't show too good but in person it's a pretty solid white, not like the semi transparent fluffy fungus that would grow out of an injury. Glad to have the second opinion though

Looks like Lymph to me too, with that pic,
Another clearer , crisper pic would help though.
