Lyonsi Question

So I everytime I see a thread about them people always comment on how rare they are and wish they could get them, well my LFS has juvies for 13.99 should I jump on this?

They also just got some Robertstoni's in

You should get fish that you want, not what others want. Though Lyonsi are not commonly seen in the hobby

Well I've got alot of extra room, wouldnt mind raising a less common and pretty nice looking fish

They're not rare in the hobby, they're rare in the wild. I can go to my LFS and pick some up for $6.99. It all depends on your location.

Then defianitely go for it.They are goodlooking fish when they are adults.They can become quite agressive

Ive been told to go with only one. Only because of they will fight with each other.

I have never had an oportunity to have one. My LPS has never had them and when I first saw one about 8 years ago I wanted one.

When I had a shot at getting one I took it. I have to say the personality of mine seems just great! Always right up to the glass when I come in the room! Eats like an absolute pig! Colors are excellent too!

All in all Im very pleased! LOL
