Neither of those are particularly common, especially seiboldi, so I doubt you will find anybody who can suggest anything other than to try it but be watchful of them.
Thanks guys, yeah I kinda figured that not many have kept them. But I was hoping someone had that could chime in. Well to answer the questions sieboldii get 10" and are a little on the aggresive side (from what I have read). Bu I have also read that lyonsi although not overly aggresive are more then capable of holding there own against most anything there size or smaller. That's why I got the lyonsi at 6", and the sieboldii at 3". I also will not rehome if there is a problem, I have 7 tanks, I'm sure I can find a spot for an 8th and it would be a good excuse as far as I'm concerned . when I put them together (probably a few months out) I will start a new thread. I also read that altifrons are found with these two in the coloradito as well...... might be thinking about another 180 and just doing all 3 together. Maybe a single altifrons with a pair of sieboldii and all of the lyonsi. I don't plan on doing any live bearers because every time I try (even with my T. Aureus and T. Meekii) they always get killed, so it has been a money pit for my trying on several dozen occasions. Anyway thanks again.
I think it would work well. Both fish in my opinion are on the mildly aggresive side and can take care of themselves so you should be good long term. Nice combination too.
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the feedback. I was a little worried at first that nobody had experiance with these guys and I was going in blind. But (although I will keep a watchfull eye) I am much more confident with my decision to mix these two. Again thanks.
