This is probably true... right now, my female does look different, but then, she is also noticeably smaller, and simply may not have developed the pronounced chin yet. Here is a pic of the female (and actually, as I look at this now, is rather clear to me that the throats are indeed going to develop very much the same... not sure why I did not notice that initially):

Thanks! That picture of her was actually taken in the original owner's tank. But she is just as stunning now! Hoping to get them to breed. I gotta say, these guys can take some punishment... they are just flat out mean to each other at times... but so far, no scars or damage, which is amazing, given the level of aggression sometimes. I am keeping a close watch, because I thought I may need to get a divider soon. But so far, the rough stuff is not TOO bad yet.
