is it possible to breed a lyretail guppy with just a regular fantail because a lyretail guppy was the last male that i had with this female for 3 months it had a set of fry about 1 month ago (they were born on 8/8/08 :headbang2) but can this happen:confused:

Probally a mix of fry, some lyre, some fan tail. Grow them out and see what they look like.

they will be so cool may be u ll get to a new shape or so !! that is wonderful keep trying then take the good female from the fry with her father ... get another cool fry then keep mixing every time u see a cool generation go on but if u saw a bad colors or so just go back 2 steps and try with another i know a man here in my country played with sowrdtails until he got very cool swordtails but i guess pics will be so cool in every step ... ;) go on man keep trying u ll get to something

George ..

I'm probablaly a bit late, but yes you can. I have a lyretail guppy that basicly attacks my (pregnant) female to try and to mate with her. (stupid fish)
