Yay! Metro must have helped! I def think I need Metro now myself for my fish with clear stringy poop. Thanks for the update!
Probably. I think the brown poop is a great sign! I like to have some on hand for new cichlids in QT as prophylaxis, but I just feed Fenbendazole since they are usually actively eating at this point. It takes even less product to feed it.i’ll keep you updated! its day 2 full filtration running. they seem more eager!
if they start putting on weight, skip the dewormer?

Likely what’s happening, reinfecting each other.gonna do this when it gets here,
they are still afflicted... getting better, i think they are reinfecting each other...

So the white poop returned? I think Prazi might have some effect on nematodes but not kill/eradicate them. So agree with the idea to deworm just in case. Also like your idea to remove the most seriously affected and treat separately. More work but would help eliminate re-infestation. Good luck!
I didn't source any Metro bc I can't get it in my country. But I did use some old Metro I had from before the ban. Unfortunately I lost the last affected fish before I could could feed it.
Yes everything but IALs. Maybe I can get Melafix and Pimafix (not sure). Literally every medicine though. We have salt hahaha!sorry to hear that, your in Canada? they banned metro?
