Probably. I think the brown poop is a great sign! I like to have some on hand for new cichlids in QT as prophylaxis, but I just feed Fenbendazole since they are usually actively eating at this point. It takes even less product to feed it.

did you get your meds sourced? just got a jug of general cure from chewy.com

they ones that were afflicted seem to be on the mend. the smallest is still pretty skinny...

ill wait 3 more days and evaluate - may need another round?

thanks again!

gonna do this when it gets here,

they are still afflicted... getting better, i think they are reinfecting each other...

Likely what’s happening, reinfecting each other.

think they think the white feces looks like food...

not feasible to set up a bunch of tanks and separate 20 fish...

i may take out the sickest of the group... and treat both tank separately...

So the white poop returned? I think Prazi might have some effect on nematodes but not kill/eradicate them. So agree with the idea to deworm just in case. Also like your idea to remove the most seriously affected and treat separately. More work but would help eliminate re-infestation. Good luck!

I didn't source any Metro bc I can't get it in my country. But I did use some old Metro I had from before the ban. Unfortunately I lost the last affected fish before I could could feed it.
