Thank you.
Your welcome!!!
I think to bump this thread, I outta share some pictures of my older silver dollars.
As you can see, one of my biggest addictions in the fish hobby is silver dollars, I LOVE THEM SINCE I WAS 8 YEARS OLD. I've kept pretty much all of them except Mylssomma.

I spotted this tank in a hospital waiting area yesterday. It houses three large tinfoil barbs,a sad looking Oscar and three large silver dollars.

Wow that red hook looks rather dull. Like he hasn't been fed any food to boost color. At the size, his hook should be dark red and he should have some gold speckling and maybe even some red. The tank looks like it isn't maintained well.
But, most hospital tanks are like that...
With one exception....
I think it is the Boston Kids ER or Boston ER they have 2 fish tanks in different areas.
The kids er lounge/waiting room has a very large saltwater tank with a whole bunch of clownfish and different species of clowns like percula, occellaris, tomato, and maroon they all seem to get along, tangs, a zebra eel, and others. Next time I go I'll grab some pictures. I go up about twice a year to help out with their charity and bring toys, candy, etc to the poor kids with cancer... makes me so sad to see them like that.
The adult one has a well maintained freshwater african cichlid tank. Wierd stocking though, africans, convicts, blood parrots, tinfoil barbs, tiger barbs, and plecos..

I didn't even think they were red hooks but rather, some other species.
20170816_070244.jpg 20170816_070121.jpg I must agree with about most hospital tanks being poorly stocked and neglected. This one is large but not very spacious for the types of fish it houses.

Oh ok. One of the redhooks look like a nice one and looks normal. Looks like 2 redhooks and a common run of the mill Metynnis Argentus common silverdollar.
Oh okay....when I saw this tank I immediately thought of you and this thread.
