No, looks like a Green Texas Cichlid.

That is a beautiful male JD, nice colors, also like the texas cichlid behind him. Nice fish!

Thanks for all the responses! Here is one more picture. I have always thought male because he never had the pronounced blue females get, He does get blue right around his mouth. I just always thought males jaws were plain with no spangles. He is about 7 inches & 2 years old.
