Ma roomies new arowana

inspired by my flowerhorns my roomie went and got himself an arowana yesterday....here are some pics of the beauty

now i just hope he treats it well

he still is in the process of setting the whole thing up...the newspaper u see is not on the tank it is on the wall behind it...the hostel has some cheap paint which comes on our clothes when we hang it there so we put up newspaper here and there to make it easier for us

as i said in one of my earlier posts my old warden used to harass me a lot coz i had a tank but now the warden has changed and the new guy is much more forgiving thus we have no probs as such

the aro is 9 inches and the tank is 2.5 feet long...thats the max size we cud smuggle into the hostel !!!!

coz of the tank size i wud prefer a flowerhorn in it rather than an aro but he has some religious beliefs due to which he wants only and arowana

if it is a religious reason that he want to get an arowana, then he shouldn't put it in a small tank either!

Here we go another Arowana being tortured.
You both need to go start at the basics like keeping a goldfish.

2.5ft isn't enough for a Flowerhorn either!

I so wish you needed some ind of licence to keep large fish sometimes!

2.5 feet that's a 29gl. Are u ok? Usually i am against tank size and blah blah but ur friend must know nuttin about fish tanks probly not even cycled. Take up a different hobby like kite flying.
