Mac Daddy Crayfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When feeding with crayfish I snip off the thumbs just in case. I lost a fair sized bullhead to a small crayfish once, the cray got a clawful of gill before being shook off and eaten, the bullhead died about an hour later.

No one asked you to believe it.

My catfish anihilate any crayfish, fish, crustaceans, plants, heaters, filters, or fingers that go in their pond. Extremely aggressive. Growing at a rate of about 1" per month now that they are settled. Big one is pushin 26" now. I would like to see the crayfish that could get the best of him? I have a small one that survived because I liked him and wanted to see how big it could get. What is the biggest crayfish any of you have raised? Had mine for 2 months now and he's grown about 1". Is that good? He's about 4" long now.

I just got back last night. Left the crawfish in the tank all weekend, and guess what? They're still there! I'm one sorry MFK'r. But, if they do survive, we'll have babies, soon, and i'll ship 'em if you want 'em. BTW, Rallysman, thanks for the graphic! :)
