The Situation:
A fish thats eating to much and getting bloated. (I am not feeding him to much he just steals from all the other fish)
The Problem: No dividers or anything to make dividers with. No QT Tank and No extra Heater.
The Tools at hand: one 200GPH pump, 1 gravel vac, 6 foot of tubing, 5 gallon bucket.
The Solution
Take the bucket, put the top of the bucket 1 inch above the top of the tank. Start a siphon from the tank to the bucket with the gravel vac. With the bucket above the tank the siphon can only fill the buckt up tot he tank water level.
Then Pump the water out of the bucket back to the tank. I now have circulation of filtered and heated water. I also ran one of the air lines from the main tank back into the bucket.
Its very ugly and kinda in the way, but will let me fast the fish for a few days with what I have. I really didn't have the money to buy a new heater.
