Although it looks larger it is just now a bit over 11.5", but that's measured in tank through the glass. Might be closer to 12" if measured out of the tank.

Any idea how this fish would do in multiples. I'm considering two or three for a 10X4 tank? Thanks.

I am uncertain as my wallet can't handle buying that many lol. I will say that reports of them in the wild are of them coming together to feed on carcasses so maybe it will work. Dunno.

Please do your research but my vague impression is that they shoal at all ages/sizes in the wild - I mean the shoals consist of fish of a comparable size/age at any any size/age. Mine two (only had them for a year, from 6" to 9") certainly loved each other's company.
