What a cool little guy! Sorry, I’m not sure how to sex them. Do you take him outdoors a lot to let him graze?

he eats a varied pellet diet.... lil guy went through a bad spell but also gets cactus fruitys and strawberry as a treat... we will be starting on greens soon... with pesticides and fertilizers used around here outdoors is limited to a tub for a few hours pending on outside temp... would love to let him roam around and graze but dont wanna risk it...

my girl wants everybody to know that the tortoise talks to her..... when she feeds it and pets his/her head..... she is the main one who saved this lil guy from death.... so maybe the near experience made the animal talk to her in a squeak squeak type way...

Nothing wrong with the turtle talking to your girl.. Our cats all talk to me and my wife all the time.. lol

i have no idea on growth rate... he has put on some size since we got him but more girth than length...
