I haven't taken any recent pics of the beani lately as I have to sit in front of the tank for an hour trying to get them to sit still to snap a couple shots.
They are all doing great otherwise! Not much growth about 2" MAX. They don't seem to want to grow. Even doing 2-50% WC a week. Feeding three times a day and keeping the temp at 84. Oh well I guess it will just take time.

The Syn is more aggressive than the BB. The BB can't compete with the Syns aggression. The BB doesn't even chase a 2.5" fish he is the most easy going Vieja I have ever kept besides the time he killed my Bleekeri.
Oh and the Synspilum is up for sale pretty soon. Along with maybe my other synspilum. PM if interested.

Yeah I had problems at first between one of my syns and the Black Belt but things have sub-sided for now.
I can only imagine what is going to happen when I introduce my 7 inch Hartwegi to them. The Hartwegi is a Killer and has killed a Salvini, BIG male convict, a 5 inch motaguense and others like pleco's and cories.
Hopefully they will all get along in my 410 when I get my stand for it. It will stock all my Vieja possibly, my Dovii, and My 3 Beani.
Here's my 2 Hartwegi the larger one is currently 7" and the smaller is 5"
