Mad Barb/Golden Shark

Yes leptobarbus hoeivinni (spelledd wrong). I had a few years ago pretty cool fish. Act like tinfoil barbs and will max. out at 20 ninches or so. Had mine in an 85 and they of course outgrew the tank. Some dude I gave them 2 put them in an outdor pond in summer then over wintered them in a 300 gallon vat in his basement. Yhey are his favorite fish and he has had them for 10 years now and they are close to 20 inches each.
 
I have three of these guys. bought them in February as little 4 inch fish. now they are around a foot each. They eat like crazy. Their mouths are much larger than they look. The three i have always hang out together. They don't pick on other fish, and my other fish leave them alone. So far, their growth seems to be comparable to that of redtail catfish. I paid $2 each for mine.

Photo is bad, but this was my trio on 4/25. They are very intimidating looking at the right angel. They move a lot so they are hard to photograph
