I hadn't actually moved him yet. Im not entirely sure what caused the death. I suspect it may have simpky been my inattention from being focused on the move.

Hmm, that's a little odd. They're usually pretty hardy unless stressed from other fish or O2 levels.
 
So sorry to hear Chicx .... one of those things man, it happens .... very sorry to hear, although i do look forward to seeing your reef tank when its set up .... having a nice salt tank has been on my mind as well
