I dunno he never moves very far. He does have some muscle left and they might have his neck secured to the table, giving him something to pull against.

I agree with it possibly being fake. They never show the whole dog or experiment. there is very convenient camera angles. Either way it was really disturbing and i wish i hadnt watched it. The science is interesting, but i didnt need to see it. I'm sure it was just propaganda to show Russia's "advance" (or made up) science at the time.

Nah. In theory, you wouldn't, b/c the brain doesn't need much blood. However, you would have to get the oxygen ratio PERFECT.
