What does he add? How would it be a loss? I just gave him props the other day for being one of the smartest people on this site, and still I stand by that if he feels the way he does, he should leave and not come back. How is badmouthing a site "needed"?

You've got to admit, for being the most active fish forum on the net most of it is irrelevant things like this. Active and quality are two different things.

Though it's entertaining to drop in every once in a while and read up.

This is the McDonald ball pit of all forums. If I need advice I go to a forum with people who actually know what they're talking about. I just come here to show off my fish since this forums so active.

Wait a minute Dixon, I really enjoy the posts from people that think this site sucks! They add so much with so little effort. It is amazing to have such experts that don't actually offer any advice or content. What would we do without them?

Ha ha. I browse all forums (pertaining to CA/SA cichlids). I don't discriminate. I like to learn. They all have pluses and minuses.

This forum has a lot of members. That's good. This forum is quite active. That's good. Lots of the activity is meaningless dribble. That's not so good.

This site isn't bad. There are a lot of good people who are really asking good questions. And there are several members who know there stuff a lot better than I do.

I give (mostly) correct knowledge freely, but don't like to put up with stupidity and post whoring, and to me this topic is both.

That's actually a big compliment to me from cchhcc, as he knows much more than I from what I've read on other forums.

I'm not sure why I'm even defending myself, as I'm not even posting much at all anymore as I have to wade through a lot of crap to find topics where people are even asking a question I can answer (that already hasn't had 15 people saying the same thing one after another).

The whole "OMG MFK is teh bestest!" mentality over here has gotten a bit old to me as well I guess. *Shrugs* Look what happens when I say I ask questions elsewhere.
