I'm sorry too. My first monster was a tiger oscar I got in jr high. Raised him from a lil 3" to over a foot. Came home to find him on the floor. Was pretty busted up over it as well. Same thing, he pushed open the glass top on his 55 gal and that was that.

You're gonna feel bad for a while, it's OK!
Just remember the times you did get to spend raising him and be thankful for that.
When the time comes, you might feel like raising another. You'll know then if it is OK...
