HAHA.....that's cool. But i would have block the bottom off completely. Just so the holes you cut in the plastic tube sucks the waste through the sponge and not from the bottom.

probably a good idea.

all my powerheads say must be submerged. so yeah.

this book says that the maxi jet 400 is self protected for misuse of the product and it also says as long as the impeller jet is submerged it will be working properly
