Hard to say. I suppose you would have a shot, depending on tankmates.

First off it came from a very clear, cold mountain creek, so it was fairly clean to start with. I cleaned it in my tub, scrubbed it with a brush, and pored boiling water on it. So far so good.

I don't know. I got it for free and the guy wasn't sure but thought it was a silver. Here is a closeup if it helps in identifying it.

I use pool filter sand for substrate, and aqua glo flourescent lights. Thanks for the compliment and good luck.
