yea thanks.do u guys think using black moon sand for subtrate will help colors stand out.

i have a ebjd,he was almost white with regular sand, switched it to blk now he is very dark blue, looks great.I also sprayed the back of the tank blk

Painting the back of the tank will work out great but the black sand is a pain in the ass imo.I'm in the middle of syphoning out of my sons eartheater tank and will never use it again. It ends up in filters, all over driftwood and rocks etc and shows up every little piece of fish crap that you missed when cleaning. And you will be cleaning a lot ! Good luck though.

yuk, looks diseased

Hey-

IMHO, Sand is a problem with filters when you have bigger fish stirring stuff up all the time, it is great in a Tang Tank, But for my money, I would use a Gravel........

Color wise absolutley use a dark color, I have a white mixed with crushed coral :irked: (Dark Blue Painted Background) and my GT has absolutley no color to him. :irked:

I am already thinking about switching to a darker color, if not adding some black to darken it up a touch......

IMHO
