Last few weeks have been pretty hectic here. Figured why not share my dungeon of maddness with people who might actually understand or appreciate it...... :)

Many of you know I have several smaller Marbles. I tried keeping them with the bigger Marbles and was not happy with the way it was going so I split several of them up. I set up a few new systems for them but wasn't happy with that either, but it served it's purpose, and bought me time.

The stacked 125s will be broke down and the tanks will become filters.... I thought they'd be alright for midget growouts but knew as soon as I cut them loose in there it was too small for my liking.

Plan was to build a new stand to house the lil Marbles' tank on the bottom and the Mutt's new growout on the top. Need to move the Mutt/Falk system so the filter is out of the closet where I can work on it. Everyone's growing so thought the filter better too. Will be adding a wet/dry and a moving bed to this system in the future, but for now the plan was to get everything plummed and get everyone moved to see if this would even work.

Here's some pics of thier current homes...... The top 125 has 3 marbles (8" avg), the bottom 125 has a pair of lil CB Marbles (5&6"), some Bala sharks, and a big ol group of Odoe.
The other system is a 4x3x1.5' with a 55 gallon sump. 3 midgets (9" avg) a pair of sun cats, and a MBU. Plan is to move the pups and balas to the 4x3, everyone else is going into the 8x2 that now has a blue back and bottom. I have found that my Marbles get ugly dark in black back/bottomed tanks.

Lemme know what you guys think.... :)

Looks like fun, I wish my wife would let me have that many tanks :)

Did you ever end up adding UVs to any of your systems? Wondering how you liked them if you did.

I know my Hybrid is super aggressive how do yours get along with everyone I am a bit nervous about adding another ray with mine since I have heard that black rays can be fiesty

Nice setups! Crazy ray guy! j/k
One question though- is the tv for you or the rays?

It would be fun if I had help!!! 8' long acrylic, and All Glass 180s aren't fun to move by yourself. Especially on to stands that are 3'+ tall. I'm lucky nothing fell out of myself..... lol

No UVs yet..... Likely won't happen till next year. Have to get the bugs worked out of these systems, finish paying people for rays, and get the heating issues addressed, then I'll be adding a UV to one of the systems, and if results are good then the rest.......

TV is already gone..... Was in the way.... lol. These pics are from a week or 2 ago..... ;)

My mutts seem ok with bigger Marbles, but I agree they seem fiesty compared to the average ray. They didn't jive well with the midgets. The Falks seem to bother them with the non stop moving. The lil male BD will be moved out and the Pearl will go in. Trev's femle should be about ripe. I figured between the Pearl and the BDHen someone needs to get her. Now that the stand is done all I have to do is wait for the other 6x3x1.5 to show up and that trio will be cut loose in there.

You guys just let me know when you're ready for more progress...... ;)

Looks like pure madness. You have gone crazy over rays and fish. I can't wait to setup a couple more tanks that I'm going to start working on.

Madness is right LOL! You might as well put a pond liner throughout your whole basement and make the whole thing a pond. Just slip on some hip waders to get from one side to the other.

Should have seen it Thanksgiving morning when I dropped the fill line in a sump and forgot about it..... Didn't need waders, but it was about 4 inches deep in the dip in the floor in front of the 750. All good though, as that part of the basement sees water during heavy rains anyways...... Half the reason my landlord could care less about what I have going on down there. IF I run out of room, maybe I will make a "pond room" but someones gonna have to tell me how to get these friggin lil Marbles to grow first, cause the rate I'm at it'll take years of breeding to run out of room......

Gone crazy?? LMAO..... It takes years for the Marblism to get this bad. Fine line between crazy and dedicated, but after so many years, the line's become blurry, or covered by growout tanks?

After this I will be down to just 4 systems.... So in reality life should be easier since there will be less systems to maintain.... :)

The really funny thing is I think I could rival small hardware stores with all the PVC I have on hand all the time......
